Original Novels
We first meet the characters of Adventures in Odyssey in Whit's Flop, the first episode of the show. But have you ever wondered what was happening in Odyssey and at Whit's End before that? What was John Avery Whittaker up to, and what kinds of adventures were the kids of Odyssey having? The original novel series answers those questions. Written by Paul McCusker, these books feature ten stories from before the audio drama got started, as well as two more from after the beginning of the show.
The series focuses on the escapades of Mark Prescott and Patti Eldridge in and around the town of Odyssey. The books include a variety of stories, including the discovery of a secret cave, a hidden room in Mr. Whittaker's house, Jimmy Barclay's conversion to Christ, an adventure at Camp What-a-Nut, and more.
1: Strange Journey Back
Patti Eldridge tells Mark Prescott about a time machine called the Imagination Station at Whit's End. Mark figures that's the answer to all his problems. |
2: High Flyer With a Flat Tire
Mark Prescott's in trouble. Not only did he fight with Joe Devlin, but now Joe accuses Mark of slashing the tire on his new bike. He didn't do it, but how can he prove his innocence? By finding the real culprit! |
3: The Secret Case of Robinwood
Mark Prescott promises that he'll never reveal the secret of Patti Eldridge's hidden cave. It's a great place for pirates, buried treasure, and secret meetings. |

7: Danger Lies Ahead

8: Point of No Return
After years of being nagged by his family to go to church, something strikes in the depths of Jimmy Barclay's soul, and he makes the biggest decision of his life. |
9: Dark Passage
Climbing aboard The Imagination Station, Jack Davis and Matt Booker are propelled back to the days before the Civil War - not a good place to be, if, like Matt, you're black. |
10: Freedom Run
